We get it - going to a new church - and especially going to church for the first time or the first time in a long time - is intimidating.  We want you to know you are welcome here, whoever you are, whatever you are wearing, wherever you are in your faith journey.  Here are some things to expect, to help make that first visit easier:

 

Where are you located?

 

6111 N Central Ave. Tampa, FL.  Our parking lot is at the corner of North Central and Paris.

 

Once I get parked, where do I go?

 

Make your way around the front (North Central) side of our building, and up the tall stairs.  There will be cool a/c and kind people waiting when you get to the top!

 

Note: our church elevator is currently out of order, and a massive modernization project is underway.  We hope to have it working again by Christmas 2026.

 

What if I need handicap access?

 

You are always welcome to join us online on Facebook or Youtube.  For those who would like some in-person community, we currently livestream our worship service in our downstairs chapel.  You can park in the handicap parking spaces in our main lot, and make your way to the teal blue door under the long awning - what we call the “tunnel door.”  Head down the ramp and make a right to head into our chapel.

 

What is the worship style like?

 

We currently have a blended worship service, and musical style varies from week to week.  Some weeks, we enjoy the organ.  Sometimes, it’s just piano.  Sometimes we have our worship band.  However, our worship is never rigid or stuffy!
 

What should I wear?

 

You should wear whatever you want (within reason!) and whatever makes you comfortable.  We are a casual congregation - shorts and polos, casual dresses, pants and light shirts are common outfit choices.

 

Will I be welcomed and accepted here?

 

If you have been hurt by a church or Christians for any reason before - we’re sorry.  We are a loving, accepting and diverse community of Christians.  We have folks of different walks of life, nationalities, races, incomes and more here.  We seek to have harm hearts and open minds, welcoming all with love.  And for us, all means all.

 

What about my kids?

 

We have an excellent children’s ministries and we would love to have your child with us!  Nursery care is available for children preschool and younger; you’ll head through the Sanctuary and through the door behind the organ.  You’ll head through the parlor, past the bathrooms, and then the nursery will be the door on your right past the bathrooms.

 

Sunday school is available for children 4 through 5th grade.  These children start in our main worship space and then are dismissed to Sunday school during the service.

 

If your child is 4 or 5 and is still in preschool - you can use your discretion as to whether or not they are ready for Sunday school, or need to stay in the nursery.  We know you know your kid best, and every kid is different!
