This method saves up to 70% and helps more of your money go to ministry. Benefits Of Online Giving When you sign up to give online, you are deciding in advance to faithfully give. The Bible teaches that we are to honor God with the “first fruits” of our labor (Proverbs 3:9). By setting up a recurring contribution that is scheduled to come out of your account on the day you specify, you can ensure that your first fruits are faithfully given back to God (1 Corinthians 16:1-2). Simplicity You won’t have to remember whether you gave this month or send in an offering by mail when you’re on a trip. Security Our giving provider, My Well Ministry utilizes an encrypted secure website to ensure protection of your sensitive personal information and giving history. Transparency You have the ability to quickly see your online giving history directly through the My Well Ministry giving portal instead of having to contact our finance department for a personalized report.

Grace is joining our church for the summer as a Family and Community Ministries Intern. You'll see Grace in worship and around the church this summer - let's welcome Grace to Seminole Heights UMC!

Grace is an upcoming senior at Florida Southern College in Lakeland, majoring in Religion with a minor in English. During college she attends College Heights UMC. She is from Pensacola, FL, where she was an active member and volunteer with Cokesbury UMC’s children and youth ministries throughout her K-12 school years. While at Seminole Heights, Grace is excited to experience different aspects of ministry and learn more about her own call to ministry.

In her free time, Grace enjoys reading, traveling (when there’s not an ongoing global pandemic), and searching for the perfect bowl of ramen.

The Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church has given their approval for churches to modify their mask use policy.

Based on CDC guidance and the availability of COVID-19 vaccines in our community, starting Sunday, June 13, fully vaccinated people can choose not to wear a mask in our church building. This change does not apply to Seminole Heights United Methodist Preschool.

Someone is considered "fully vaccinated" two weeks after receiving the second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine or their only dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

This decision was not made lightly, but the Administrative Committee feels that by maintaining reduced building capacity, social distancing, and requiring masks for those who are not vaccinated or who have not yet been fully vaccinated, we will still maintain safety in our worship space and in other group settings in our church building.

At this time, masks are still required for those who are not vaccinated, including children over age 2.

Thank you for your patience and understanding, as this is an evolving situation. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call the church at (813) 236-5931 or email us at office@semheights.com.
